Weedkillers

Weeds can be a problem for all gardeners, they can appear in lawns, pots, borders, veg patches and pathways.  Pulling them out or hoeing them is often the best course of action if weeds are growing amongst other plants in your borders or in your lawn.  If you need to kill off large areas of weeds or if it isn’t possible to pull them out then using a weedkiller will probably be your best option.  Most weedkillers contain the active ingredient glyphosate, which does a good job of killing most garden weeds.  Some concerns have been raised about the possibility of this compound being harmful if you are exposed to it long term, so the market leading brands now offer a glyphosate-free alternative.
