Seeds, Onion Sets & Seed Potatoes

We stock a wide variety of vegetable and ornamental plant seeds supplied by Kings Seeds.  Most seeds are planted in early spring once the weather starts to warm and the days become longer.  You will find an abundance of choice from, beans, cucumbers and tomatoes, to cornflower, poppies and cosmos.

We also have seed trays, propagation houses, compost, perlite, labels, and pots.  Everything you need to nurture your seedlings successfully.  Our friendly and knowledgeable team are always on hand to offer help and advice should you be new to seed sowing and horticulture.

As well as seeds, we offer onion, shallot and garlic sets in early spring as well as overwintering sets in the autumn.

Seed Potatoes

Growing potatoes is one of the most popular past times for many gardeners, they are easy to grow and can be planted in the ground or in containers.  Our seed potatoes usual arrive mid-January, we sell them loose offering you the opportunity to buy what you need & try different varieties.  We have all the usual favourites such as Rocket, Charlotte, Wilja, Maris Pipers & Pink Fir Apple as well as some more unusal varieties available in taster packs.  You can also buy potato planters, fertiliser and compost in our garden shop.
